Living Room with a Bosphorus View

In a waterfront apartment in Istanbul the 74 m² living-room floor and fireplace wall were clad with 120x278 cm Lavinya slabs. Thanks to the large size the floor has only six joints and the veins flow uninterrupted.

The architect aimed to give the space a sense of continuity by cladding floor and wall with the same slab.
